Today I spent time reading Hebrew 11 and Matthew 7.

God spoke to me about living a life of faith and not simply holding to a profession of faith.

May I never hold to a profession, may I keep the faith!

Today, I read repeatedly from Genesis 4 and Hebrews 11.

God spoke to me about the condition of Cain's heart toward God in worship and how it reflected the condition of his heart toward his brother (man).

May the condition of my heart never grow cold toward You, Lord. May my heart never grow cold towards man either.

Today is my son's 4th birthday!

I read Psalm 117 & 118.

God spoke to me about His enduring love!

So, I missed two days. I spend no time in the word... but I did pray throughout those days. I know, it doesn't count toward my goal. So, I'll keep trying!

Today, heard a great sermon by my pastor and spent time reading in Psalms since he preached from a Psalm.

I read Psalm 116 and spent time meditating on God's deliverance.

God spoke to me about how He has delivered me in the past.

May I always rejoice in Your deliverance in spite of the difficulties I face.
